Our very clever and creative ladies in the floral department came up with this wonderful beachy light strand. We think it fits in perfectly with any nautical or beach decor, whether for a party or everyday. The shells glow softly from within and look lovely paired with anchors, starfish, weathered wood, and fishnet.
This project couldn’t be easier. Using hot glue, glue two closely matched shells around a light, pressing firmly until set. Add as many shells as you wish. For ours we chose to leave every other light shell-less, giving it a more delicate appearance.
Even if you live far from the ocean, bring the beach indoors this summer. You can feel like a mermaid or bathing beauty all the time!
